REHAU uPVC Heritage Vertically Sliding Windows

With many people replacing box sash windows and with more and more opting for a low maintenance option, YES Glazing Solutions supply the REHAU S719 Heritage vertical sliding window.

The REHAU brand name immediately speaks volumes about the quality of this window, but in addition to this and despite having all the modern benefits of uPVC, the Heritage window is designed to replicate a traditional box sash window, creating an authentic and desirable product that has sight lines to match the original window being replaced.

The appearance of a period property or house within a conservation area for instance, is so important and with the REHAU Heritage window being successfully approved and installed in many conservation areas in the UK and in some cases grade II listed buildings, it is the ideal window if you are looking for the same beautiful sliding sash window look, without using traditional timber.

The windows are designed with the traditional detailing found in original box sash windows including slim centre rails, deep bottom rails, decorative sash horns and face fixed Astragal Georgian bars which can be designed bespoke to match the original window designs. The addition of fitch catch locking, ring pulls and finger lifts further replicate the tradition look.

Mechanically our Heritage windows slide using a torsoe adjustable balance concealed inside the outer fame, so they won’t stick, slip or jam. The addition of the tilt back facility means that cleaning is no longer a worry too. Every part of the glass and frame is accessible for cleaning from inside the house and therefore means that your windows can stay cleaner and last even longer with low effort maintenance.

The Heritage window ensures that your property is well insulated, draught proof, secure and more sound proof without sacrificing the aesthetics of a traditional box sash window.

Due to the look of the window being incredibly authentic, more often than not the Internal trims (Architraves, Liners and Nosing) are produced and fitted in timber to replicate exactly what was there originally. These trims can be supplied pre-finished with a spray applied micro porous coating at a slight additional charge for a perfect finish.
